“KidStuff” is a highly acclaimed program provided by trained police department personnel for  kindergarten age children in the city elementary schools.  This program is designed to teach young children how to access and properly use the 9-1-1 system.  In conjunction with “Kid Stuff”, children may be visited by “Eddie Eagle”, who teaches them about the dangers involved with firearms and “McGruff”, the Crime-Fighting Dog.

“KidStuff” also utilizes a program called “Stranger Danger”, which uses illustrative skits and songs to teach these kindergarten children specific safety information if they are confronted by strangers.
