Facilities
Boating & Fishing
Lake Reidsville is renowned for its big bass, crappie, catfish, bream and other fish. Fishing can be done from boats or designated bank fishing areas. A dock with 26 slips makes the lake easily accessible by boat. Boat fishermen will find exciting fishing action along the lake's miles of shoreline.

New Fishing Piers
Reidsville City Council approved in December of 2006 the construction of two new piers at Lake Reidsville. The largest pier replaced the existing pier and made it handicap accessible. A smaller pier was placed in the vicinity of Shelter #1. Construction of the piers was completed in 2007, and the new piers were dedicated.

Campground
Lake Reidsville has an extraordinarily picturesque campground featuring 46 campsites bordering the lake. All of the sites have water and electricity. Additionally, 27 of the camping areas have on site dumping facilities. The sites are close to shower facilities and restrooms. The campground has a separate docking area with 10 boat slips, a fishing pier and nature trails.
Map of Campground Layout
The Triad Highland Games has featured Lake Reidsville's campgrounds on its website, www.triadhighlandgames.org.
Shelters
The lake's six picnic shelters may be reserved for a modest fee for your family reunion, corporate picnic or other group activities. Shelter #1 can accommodate more than 100 people while Shelter #5 near the lake can seat between 150-200 people comfortably. Shelter #6 can host a large crowd while the three remaining shelters are well suited to smaller, more intimate gatherings. In addition, numerous picnic tables and grills are scattered along the woodline. Following your meal, take a walk along one of the nature trails the park provides and walk off those calories!
Amphitheater
Constructed in 2001, the lake's amphitheater was constructed in memory of Reidsville businessman E. Howard Boyd by his daughter, Susan Boyd. Half of the costs were paid through local contributions. The amphitheater, which includes electrical outlets and lights, faces a large open field that can accommodate large crowds.
Play Area
Lake Reidsville's playground area will delight any child. The area boasts several separate play structures, including swings, slides, a tire swing, spring animals and more.
Adults can sit in the shade while their children enjoy this fun equipment. The playground area is located across from the Camp Store.
Camp Store
The lake's camp store offers camp supplies, food items, and more. Fishing licenses and boat registrations can be purchased there.

Sporting Facilities
Lake Reidsville also has an outdoor basketball court, a fenced-in grass volleyball court, three horseshoe pits, a soccer field and a practice softball field. Sporting equipment is available at the Camp Store. Disc golf equipment is also available for purchase at the store.
Lake's Edge Disc Golf
(Web Page & Map)
In June of 2007, the City opened Lake's Edge, Reidsville's Disc Golf Course, at Lake Reidsville. Set in the woods of the park, the course is geared for family and professional play. This course will challenge players, both young and old alike, who will throw their discs over trees and water. The championship-quality course begins beside the Camp Store where the first tee is located.

The ribbon cutting for the new Lake Reidsville Disc Golf Course was
held Friday, June 22, 2007. Plans are to get the championship-quality
course on the national tournament schedule as soon as possible.
